ALIZITA, I LOVE YOU!!!! This week my baby girl turned 13!!!! I say this week because I don’t know the exact day she was born and I don’t know where the breeder is anymore! But I got her when she was 8weeks in March 13years ago. I love the series below cause it shows much of a punk she is. Alizay has never liked the camera. She rarely looks at the camera- I have make weird noises or bust out some treats if I want her to look. For the most part she is pretty chill so I can get her to sit and stay. But while I was snapping these pics she just gets up and turns around to give me her back. Typical Alizita- but I think it made out for a GREAT SERIES!
I am not going to lie… I am a bad blogger! I would lie and tell you I will get better but I know I won’t, lol! If you follow me on my FB Fanpage - which you should!- you have already seen these pictures. But I like to post them here cause the quality is better. Here are some pictures so you can see what I am up to! Hopefully I can share more- if time permits!!!!
Whatever it is that you celebrate I hope you have a blast spending it with the people you love! I celebrate Christmas and this year it was a little more stressful as my little brain had a hard time thinking of gifts and of course I waited till the very last minute. Next year I plan to make the presents more personalized and have them all done by the beginning of December. In the next coming weeks I hope to have a LOT of changes. My new logo, new website and a new style of blogging. Whatever the reason is that you came to my blog for- THANK YOU y GRACIAS! Really! Love & Besos!
After photographing Peanut I had every intention of putting him in my bag and taking him home! Just kidding but I am not going to fake it really crossed my mind. Peanut a little Pomeranian! He had that puppy breath and those puppy teeth that just melts my heart.
What did I say on my last post? Oh yea, that I really suck at blogging! Well as of now I will have no excuse. I took the jump, that really scary jump- I quit my job. My part time job. I got mixed reactions from many people… “Um, we are in a recession”…”Emily that’s awesome!”.. you get it right? Well I can tell you that I have those moments where I FREAK out and then others where I am 100% confident and extremely happy. So now I will have LOTS of time, tons.
Anyways, I never got to share the rest of the Quinceañera pictures! These events are super fun! But at the same time they make me feel super old. =/

Wow, I really suck at blogging… I will have more time in the upcoming weeks so I should be able to post more pictures.
Well here are the winners of my photoshoot contest! It was a blast. Both of them were off the leash the whole session! As I was proofing this session I found myself cracking up because Jefferson, the Lab, had the BEST expressions! There were so many more that I wanted to share but I had to control myself. Sachi was soooo sweet the entire session she was quite the listener. Jefferson also listened but he was more interested in playing and just just EXTREMELY happy. Enjoy.

I think this might be my favorite shot right now… I LOVE Jefferson’s pose and expression…
The thing I really love about this shot are all the little paw prints on the sidewalk….
Looks like he was posing but he was actually demolishing his ball…I have never seen a dog chew a ball the way Jefferson did. I am still cracking up inside remembering it.

(long shadows on the sidewalk- this one screams "Man's best friend." and Jefferson smiling on the playset with the starburst in the corner and his owner's gentle expression and affection) Sachi is cute too. ;)
This past weekend I photographed a Quinceanera. I love these… they are like mini-weddings except it’s all about the GIRL. And we should be celebrated… we got through a lot, lol. Anyways well here is a sneak peek of a sneak peek of both the Quinceanera and Doggie Life session. This Quince was sorta a challenge for me… it required me to use flash for about 95% of the time. The 5% was me really pushing my ISO and the 50mm at f/1.2. I am not a fan of flash but we gotta we what we gotta do….

We had a BEAUTFUL Sunday! And I got to meet this little cutie… Peanut! So cuteeee!!! I wanted to take him in my bag and take him home. But I am sure Alizay wouldn’t have been too excited…

Recently I have been feeling the urge to use film(weird, I know). The only camera I have is this real old camera, below. I don’t even know if it works. One of these days I will venture out and buy some film. I have this feeling that I will be stuggling to load the flim though.
I have two gorgreous nephews, David and Alex. I ADORE them. David is the happiest little guy I know. His happiness is really contagious. He loves books and really digging firemen and the whole firestation thing right now.
Alex is at the point where his personality is starting to shine through. I CAN”T wait until he starts sitting up!

So the winner- winners actually are Sachi and Jefferson!!! I want to thank everyone for participating. Quick note… I caught(with the help of my boyfriend, the birdie) the cookie erasing thing, right quick, like maybe 15minutes into it. So I don’t know if anybody did that anyways and I was tracking the votes- so it’s allllllllll good. I just put that update there so people weren’t confused as to why only one computer in a household (ip-adress/network/whathaveyou!) could vote. Peace and love people!
A post is not a post without a picture so I will leave you with one of my most favorite and I believe most popular doggy shot, Flash…
Every once in while I feel giving ;) So this will be my gift to everyone although it might be a selfish one, since I enjoy taking pictures of dogs sooooooooooo much.
For the last two days I have never been so happy to get so many e-mails! More than that I was pleasantly surprised by all the rescues! That makes my heart warm and tingly! Although I bought my dog from a breeder (when I was 13) I just know my next will be from a rescue. We even got a rescue all the way from the mean streets of GUAM! I don’t think the streets of Guam are mean, I am just saying ;)

Now the ever wonderful and ever so cute contestants. I put them in alphabetical order cause that is the only fair way I was taught. Drum-roll pleaseee…
#1- Annabelle & Sophie Annabelle is a1 year old Shih-Tzu rescue from a puppy mill. She is brain damaged but that hasn’t stopped her from memorizing her toys by name! Her older sister Sophie is a gorgeous 3 year old Cockapoo. Her fav activity is running… and especially running after rabbits!
#2- Clyde & Gizmo Clyde is a 1 year and 5month old Standard Schnauzer. Because he has fluffy white feet he was named after the Clydesdale Horse. Gizmo is a cute 5 year old Lhasa Apso. While Cylde enjoys playing with his toys, Gizmo love snuggling in anything cozy he finds- like baskets and boxes. Mommy says Clyde will rest his chin on your lap while Gizmo will sniff your eyes! Too cute!
#3- Cosita & Smore I love the names of these two!!! In Peru I use to have a dog named Cosita that my relatives gave away =( Anyways these cuties are Chihuahuas.
#4- Cosmo Cosmo is a 7ish year old, rescue and his parents are guessing that he is a mix between- American Eskimo & Sheba Emu. The sweetest thing about this guy is that he is sporting a white heart shape patch on his head- Can you see on the right pic? He doesn’t discriminate against any of his toys, he loves them all! Right now he is just waiting for the snow- it’s his favorite!
#5- Daisy Daisy is a beautiful 1 year old, mix of Husky and Doberman. She also is a rescue. Her fav activity is eating but she knows how to keep her figure cause after eating her second fav activity is jumping- 5ft high!
#6- Gizzy Gizzy is a little Yorkie, who by the looks of it loves shoes and who doesn’t?!
#7- Jefferson & Sachi Jefferson is a handsome rescue from the SPCA. Yay for rescues. This Labrador Retriever can play all day with his tennis balls- fetching or just chewing them up! Sachi is a gorgeous Akita. She is only 2.5 and loves playing with kids.
#10- Juicy
You know Juicy was almost automatically disqualified when I saw the jersey she was rocking. .. JK, I am a Cowboys fan though. ;) Anyways, at the age of 1, this darling Pug is one stellar soccerplayer! Yes she loves to play soccer!
#9- Kano This little 13 week baby Pitbull is already breaking hearts. Catch him at home playing with this Hulk-enstein stuffed animal. And this little heart breaker must have some awesome dreams because mommy said he sleeps in the most awkward positions.
#10-Kobi This striking pure breed Yorkie is still in puppy mode, according to his daddy, at the age of 7. His FAV activities include eating, sleeping and car rides. And you know what? Kobi has his life MADE!!! I would love that life!
#11- London Let’s meet London a 2 year old Yorkie and Bichon Frise mix (that is actually a real cute mix, right?). Besides rocking her hair with bows, she is always down for a game of fetch.
#12- Lowell & Pebbles Here we got a bro and sis at the tender age of 1 year and 1 month. Lowell, the bigger of the two, and his sis are the best of buddies. These Puggles love to play and chase each other and after that they end it with some snuggle~time.
#13- Onyx Here is another rescue!!! Onyx is a black Lab mix who is always up for some tug of war and some fetch with his squeaky toys.
#14-Pinky, Rome & Spot I am sure there is a lot of testerone in this household! Let’s start with Pinky! He’s the smaller of the crew, but eldest at 9 years of age. Half chihuahua and half jack Russel and by the looks of the picture he seems to enjoy laying in the sun. And that is his FAV activity! Rome is obviously the player of the group with that seducing look… I’m kidding. Rome is a 3 year old handsome Pitbull and loves to give the girls… oops, I mean everyone kisses. And last but certainly not least is Spot. This 6 year old is half Rotty and half Lab and he can go car riding all day long!
#15- Raja This handsome guy is a mix of German Shepherd with Black Lab. At the age of 2years and 2months his fav hobbies are playing tug of war and chewing all the stuffed animals that mommy gives him. He also enjoys swimming!!! I got some pics from his mommy to prove it!!
#16 Sadie Jae Sadie Jae is a 4-month old Shih-Tzu puppy. Besides stealing the hearts of others she enjoys eating socks! And who wouldn’t let her?
#17- Spam This sweet girl, with some awesome ears, was found on the streets of Guam. These days she enjoys chewing on her squeaky toys in the comfort of her own home. She is around 7 years of age and a proud mutt- any guesses?
**UPDATE- a little birdie told me it was possbile to erase the cookies and vote multiple times so that has now been disabled. So basically one vote per household now. All votes from earlier are still counted.=P
